Richard Arthur

Managing Director

From first joining the ANZ Bank back in 1979 I have spent over 40 years in the finance and service industry, the last 20 years specializing in mortgage broking. Being one of the founding directors of Connected Home Loans back in 2006 I’m proud of being part of a business that prides itself on putting its clients first and doing its best to achieve their goals no matter how difficult the challenge may be. These days my role is mainly managerial however I do have a level of experience in finance my team can draw upon when required.

My personal time is mainly spent with family and friends. As a member of the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club, I enjoy playing golf or a least trying to and my wife and I at this time in our lives are taking the opportunity to travel as much as our jobs will allow, which we both greatly enjoy.

Hayley Walsh

Managing Director 

I began my career in the mortgage industry in 2007 when I joined Connected Home Loans as a lending specialist. With more than 19 years’ experience as a professional mortgage broker, I’ve grown to truly love the industry and have since transitioned into the role of managing director at Connected Home Loans.

Those who know me will tell you that, aside from being a little outgoing and always up for a chat, I’m extremely passionate, if not slightly obsessed, about what I do. Whether I’m helping a first-home buyer purchase their very first home or assisting a seasoned investor with their next property, I’m committed to delivering the best possible finance experience. I pride myself on providing a simple, clear, and easy-to-understand approach, no matter how complex the loan scenario may be.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m a proud mum to two adult children and an even prouder Nanna to three beautiful grandchildren. I also have a strong passion for travel, whether that’s heading overseas or exploring our beautiful country in our caravan.

Senior Lending Specialist

My working life has been centred around my passion for customer service and meeting and exceeding people’s expectations. This has given me a strong analytical mindset, enabling me to approach challenges with a strategic perspective which I love. I now have over six years as a professional Mortgage Broker, and during that time I have developed an understanding of the financial landscape coupled with a keen ability and desire to meet the unique needs and requirements that my clients both have and demand.

Outside of work I enjoy being involved in the thoroughbred racing industry with ownership in a few horses myself, however my main passion in life is family and I can think of nothing better than to be watching my sons playing football on the weekends.

Corey Brougham

Senior Lending Specialist

I bring over 24 years of experience across property, finance, and banking. My career in real estate began in 2002, supporting clients with home purchases and investments, before transitioning into banking with one of the Big Four as a customer service officer in Salisbury, SA. I quickly progressed into lending and, over a 22-year banking career, worked across Darwin, Melbourne, and South Australia. I developed deep expertise in property finance and the broader financial industry.


I take a customer-first, solutions-focused approach, building long-term relationships based on trust and respect. I am committed to understand each client’s unique needs and delivering tailored financial strategies to help them succeed.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner Danielle, our twin daughters Hazel and Ivy, and family and friends at Lake Bonney in Barmera. I also enjoy riding my Harley and being part of a motorcycle community, often participating in charity rides.

Senior Administration Officer

As the business’ administration officer my role is to keep the “wheels in motion” and everything running smoothly. I have a strong work ethic and am always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. I have a drive to learn better ways to do my job more efficiently which I believe helps me grow both professionally and personally. My passion is customer service as I believe “clients are for life” so I will do everything possible to make their loan process experience as good as possible.

In my personal time I love to spend it with family and friends, going to the beach and travelling.

Administration Assistant

I provide administration support for our mortgage broking team. I’m passionate about creating a smooth and stress-free experience for our clients by assisting with the loan process, managing documentation, and helping ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. I take pride in being organised, approachable, and detail-oriented, and I enjoy supporting clients throughout their property journey from application to settlement.

 

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s camping, horse riding, or simply enjoying nature and the outdoors with family and friends.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially going out together and exploring different foods. These moments help me stay inspired both personally and professionally.
